I work full time but I also spend tiime helping with the Community Cat Program...trapping, feeding, delivering and returning cats to their caretakers. It's such a rewarding experience knowing you're helping those that may be less fortunate as well as keeping the cat population down without euthanizing. It would be fabulous if SC had more stringent spay/neuter laws but until then, Pawmetto Lifeline has taken on the continued challenge to help folks, at a very resonable cost, spay/neuter and vaccine their pets. I trapped and had two "feral" cats (one in the photo) neutered a few years back and they have become the most loving cats of my bunch. They're the first in my lap when I sit down. Not all community cats are friendly. They did not choose that life, but I fully believe in TNR (Trap/Neuter/Release) as IT WORKS. Please join our team and come walk with us at Bark to the Park or donate as you can to this special cause. This will help Pawmetto Lifeline continue our fight to save and TNR our Community Cats and save many many more unfortunate animals from kill shelters. It will also help Pawmetto Lifeline keep spay/neuter and Vet costs down, continue the Pet Soup program (providing food for the animals of the less fortunate), continue the Care-A-Van mobile vaccine unit, and help find good loving homes for many more unwanted, loving pets. We would be more than grateful for your support.
