We need your help! Please join our team or donate to support us and help save lives!
Join us as we walk in Pawmetto Lifeline's Bark to the Park Walk for the Animals on April 14th, 2018! Reach out to your friends and family members for donations, and help us reach this year's goal of $10,000!
Bark to the Park is the largest event fundraiser for Pawmetto Lifeline each year. In addition to the funds raised, the event brings greater awareness to animal issues such as homelessness, abuse and neglect.
Together, we can save more animals in need!
Why We Are Walking in This Event
Pawmetto Lifeline is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to a humane solution to the issue of overpopulation of pets. Every year in Richland and Lexington Counties over 19,000 dogs and cats enter just two municipal shelters and each year over 14,000 of those same animals are euthanized. Not only is this unconscionable but it costs taxpayers millions every year.
Pawmetto Lifeline endeavors to end unnecessary euthanasia through public education, responsible rescue and adoption of shelter animals, and wide-scale spay and neuter initiatives. Pawmetto Lifeline rescues and rehabilitates over 1,000 pets each year. Each pet is spayed or neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated prior to adoption. Pawmetto Lifeline has rescued over 17,500 animals from death row since 1999!
Yet there are many more homeless dogs and cats who are hungry, neglected, lonely and scared that need Pawmetto Lifeline's help right now. We want to help them save more pets!
Please Give With a Smile! :)
Please consider giving in support of our efforts to help the homeless pets in our community. Whatever you can give will help tremendously - it all adds up to fewer homeless, lonely and neglected pets!
