Dear Friends and fellow animal lovers,
It's hard to believe that a year has gone by since the last Bark to the Park walk. Little did I know that last year was going to be Topsy's last year with me on earth. I lost her in October due to kidney failure. We don't know why she got sick, but by the time she was diagnosed, she only had two more weeks to live. Needless to say, I was devastated to get that news. But, on the bright side, I know I gave her the best life I possibly could and gave her the life of a princess. It's too bad that all dogs and cats can't say the same.
Please find it within your hearts to make a donation of whatever amount you can to help support the homeless dogs and cats in the Midlands. The City of Columbia Shelter's euthanisia rate used to be over 60%. I believe we are finally making a dent in that number, but it's still terrible to think how many sweet animals are still being put to sleep when they have many good years of life left in them. Your generosity will help fund the operations of Pawmetto Lifeline so that they can continue their good works to continue offering low or no-cost spay neuter services. With your money and Pawmetto Lifeline's efforts, we can make a difference in the lives of homeless pets.
Thanks in advance for your support.
Anne and Angel Topsy
