Bark to the Park 2020

Mungo for Mutts

Every year, Pawmetto Lifeline puts together Bark to The Park to help raise awareness about homeless pets and the over population of pets in our communities. This is their biggest event every year! They depend on people like YOU and I to help spread the word and raise money for their great cause.

Thousands of pets every year are abandoned, abused and euthanized. In 2008, more than 23,000 companion animals entered the municipal animal shelters in Richland and Lexington counties. However, more than 19,000 were euthanized. Since the opening of their adoption, medical, and boarding facility in Spring 2012, they have been able to save more than 15,000 companion pets from euthanasia and gave them a new lease on life. Pawmetto Lifeline continues to strive toward the goal of a no-kill community and state, through adoption, pet retention, resuce partnerships, and medical services. With our help, Pawmetto Lifeline can save even more pets this year, and keep their efforts going for years to come.

"No pet should die simply because it is homless." Please join our team, Mungo for Mutts, to help us help Pawmetto Lifeline in their efforts to save all homeless pets in our communities!
