Each year, over 17,000 dogs and cats enter municipal shelters in Richland and Lexington Counties where 10,800 of these same
animals are euthanized due to lack of space and resources.
Pawmetto Lifeline has a plan in place to end the problem of pet overpopulation in the Midlands through adoptions, spay/neuter and medical programs, rescue collaboration and education. Our long-term goal is to transform the
Midlands into a no-kill community, meaning no healthy adoptable pet is
euthanized simply because it is homeless.
100% of the proceeds from Bark to the Park directly supports Pawmetto Lifeline's ongoing
life-saving efforts and will make an immediate impact on the lives of so many homeless pets in the Midlands. We invite you to learn more about the issue and Pawmetto Lifeline.
